2 BHK means two bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen. In Dubai listings you will also see "2 beds + maid", which adds a small maid's room, often with its own bathroom. That extra room is why some two bedrooms show three or four bathrooms and a larger area. It can double as a study or storage room if you do not need it.
The two bedrooms we currently list range from about 790 square feet in Sobha Creek Vistas to more than 2,000 square feet in a Dubai Marina tower. Newer mid-market buildings sit near 800 to 1,250 square feet. Large units with a maid's room and Burj Khalifa or lagoon views start around 1,300 square feet. Always ask whether the figure is built-up area or suite area. Our guide to apartment sizes in Dubai shows how to compare.
